Blueberry Jam (AIP, Paleo, Refined Sugar Free)

WOW, just made this and I am very happy with the results.

This is such an easy recipe to make. I Haven’t had jam in quite a while since they mostly have sugar added and other ingredients that aren’t especially good for ya, also when you don’t eat bread, it’s pretty hard to use up jam. I picked the original recipe up from Audrey at Unconventional Baker. Hope you enjoy it.

Blueberry Jam (AIP, Paleo, Refined Sugar Free)

  • 1 Cup Blueberries fresh, frozen, wild or regular
  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. Lemon Juice fresh
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Unflavored Gelatin


  1. Place all but the gelatin in the saucepan and stir well.
  2. Heat to a boil on medium high heat, stirring frequently.
  3. Once boiling, set heat to low/simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring about every 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle gelatin over the hot berries and make sure to stir right away to combine until the gelatin is incorporated.
  5. Remove from heat and pour into glass container.
  6. Let cool completely, then store covered in the fridge.

Recipe Notes

This should keep for a few weeks in the fridge if you are lucky!

Haven't tried it yet, but am sure you could make this with just about any berries you would like to try - raspberries, strawberries, mixed-berries. Go for it and enjoy!
