Here’s a smoothie that is not only great for pain, but is also low iron so you don’t have to worry about drinking it if you have Hemochromatosis.
Great healthy smoothie recipe.
- 1 Cup Coconut milk
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp MCT or Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger or 1 inch fresh ginger
- 1 Tbsp Honey or sweetener of choice
- 1 Med. Frozen Banana
Put all ingredients into your blender and mix until nice and smooth (about 1 minute).
Pour mixture into a glass jar or tall glass and add a non-plastic straw (if needed).
Turmeric has so many health benefits, it just fits that it would help to regulate your iron as well.
